Self Description: I teach people to say what they mean in a language that isn't theirs, which turns out to be one of the more intimate things you can do with a stranger. There's a moment in every lesson when something clicks and a person stops translating in their head and just speaks and language stops being a wall and becomes a door. I've been opening doors like that for years and I'm looking for the same thing in everything else. The fact that we can understand each other without losing anything in translation isn't small to me, it's where everything starts a real conversation, a video call where you can see what someone's face does when they're thinking, a meeting somewhere that exists on an actual map, and then the building of a life together. I've seen enough of language to know that words without action are just words, and what I want is the action.

Who doesn't use time zones or kilometers as an excuse to keep everything safely online, who has enough courage and enough genuine interest to book a call, show his face, say what he's actually looking for and mean it because he's at the point in his life where half-measures cost more than they save and he knows it. He's thought about what he wants clearly enough that he doesn't need six months of messages to figure out if he's ready, because he already is. He wants to meet, actually meet, to sit across from someone and feel whether something is there, and then if it is to do something about it without needing to be convinced that this is a reasonable thing to want. He's looking for a wife, a home, a life that has another person woven into it so completely that after a few years he can't quite remember what it felt like before, and he's not embarrassed about any of that because he stopped being embarrassed about knowing what he wants a long time ago.
