Self Description: Most people hear "lawyer" and picture someone exhausting to be around. Fair. But that version of me stays at the office. What comes home is someone who has had enough words for one day and would genuinely love to just sit somewhere quiet with a good person and not be in charge of anything for a while. The job taught me one useful thing for real life: I can tell almost immediately when someone isn't being straight with me. So honesty isn't something I'll ask for twice. I know what I want and I stopped being embarrassed about that sometime around thirty. I have a lot going on. So do most people worth knowing. That's fine, I'm not looking for someone with a cleared schedule. Just someone who, when he decides something matters, acts like it.

Comments: Just a person who says what he means and doesn't leave things vague on purpose. That's it. That's the whole ask. A man who decided at some point that he actually wants a real relationship and stopped treating that like an embarrassing thing to admit. Who isn't keeping options open while pretending otherwise. I'll know if he is. What I'm drawn to is pretty simple: showing up consistently, in the small things nobody's watching. The "how did it go" when he already knows it went badly. Staying in the conversation when it gets uncomfortable. And ideally finds it more attractive than annoying when the woman across from him wins. Because I will.
